Utah Bound.

Today is our very last day in San Antonio and I must say it's bitter sweet! I have been packing most the day but went to lunch with the husband and our cutest friends we made this summer. I have been thinking how grateful I am that we got to have our summer away and fill all of our free time with the fun stuff and be able to spend A LOT of quality time together. I am sure Jacob will be glad when I get back to school and I am not talking his ear off 24/7 though. San Antonio quickly became one of my new favorite places and we made so many great new memories! Moving to a new place is hard and things always go wrong but I don't even have enough fingers to count how many tender mercies we experienced and it just goes to show that with a little bit of faith things always work out! With that being said I cannot wait to see my family, my washer and dryer, and my dishwasher (our dishwasher here was not so good). Our first stop is Austin and then we are headed to Utah!!

Happy Thursday! It is almost he weekend!

Texas.

So far in Texas we have been to The Alamo, Riverwalk and the zoo. We also celbrated Jake's birthday and the fourth of July! It is been 100 degrees almost every day if not hotter and most days I feel like I am going to melt. We also have ate tons of yummy food but Rudys BBQ and Pappasitos have been my favorites so far!

These are obviously at the Alamo.

My grandpa and his wife also came into town last weekend so we were able to do the riverwalk with them. There is tons of shopping and places to eat and you can do a boat tour its really fun but the day we chose to go it was 112 degress needless to say by the time we sat down to eat we were sweating bullets!

Next up was Jake's birthday we went to the zoo saw a movie and then went to dinner we had the best day together and the San Antonio Zoo did not disappoint!

They didn't have any giraffes but they had tons of monkey and birds and the habitats for the animals were awesome! Sorry for the picture overload but I wanted our families to be able to see some of our photos! Happy Friday!

Anniversary

I am a little late posting but the 18th was Jake and I's 2nd anniversary. It is so crazy that it has been 2 years since we were married in a lot of ways it seems a lot longer! He was so sweet and surprised me with a weekend up in Salt Lake. We stayed at The Grand America, I did not want to come home it was wonderful! We also ate at The Roof and did a little shopping at City Creek. On our way home we had Mo' Bettah Steaks for lunch! We had that for our wedding dinner and it was so yummy and hadn't been back since! It has been a great 2 years some days are hard, but most days are really good and I am so glad I chose to marry this guy and be with him forever. He is my perfect match and makes me really happy! I am looking forward to the next year and all the adventures that are in store! Happy Anniversary Jake I am so lucky to have you!

(We did not do very good at getting pictures together)

California!

Recently Jake and I took a trip to California and went to Disneyland and California Adventure. It was so warm and so fun to spend time together at the happiest place on earth! It was the best time to go we didn't have to wait in line more than 30 minutes for anything except Cars Land and we were able to do everything! Get ready for picture overload!

Radiator Springs Racers was by far our favorite ride at Disneyland/California Adventure, of course we had to wait an hour and half and then when we finally got the front the ride broke and we had to wait another hour. It was definitely worth the wait and so fun! I also got to meet some of the princesses and it totally took me back to my childhood I loved it! We also ate at The Blue Bayou, it's the restaurant that is inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, it was awesome! The atmosphere is so fun and a little but romantic and the food is really delicious too!

Universal Studios was also fun it wasn't my favorite but we still had a good time. Jake went when he was nine and was terrified of the Jurassic Park ride, long story short his mother made him go and he was traumatized. His family teases him all the time and he finally was able to face his fear it was really funny. (He will probably be a little upset I said that)

Sorry for all the pictures they are mostly for me so I can remember it! Happy Monday!

On New Adventures.

We found out about a week ago that Jacob got an internship in San Antonio! So folks we will be moving for the summer and we are super excited!!

We are excited to go to the river walk, a baseball game, and The Alamo! If you have any other suggestions for places to eat or things to see let us know! Hopefully we do not melt from the heat!

18.

Cooper turned 18 today and I cannot even believe it. He is about to graduate and then will soon go on a mission and I am so sad that he will be leaving but also super proud of him for all the good choices he is making. Cooper is one of the most funny people and everybody loves him and I feel lucky to have him for a brother! I love that he gets a long so well with Jake too and can come over and watch Duck Dynasty. Happy birthday Coop!! We love ya!

Here is a little throw back to when we were at the happiest place on earth!!
